Alberta is Kor Structural's newest region, led locally from Edmonton and supported by the team that has delivered towers on the West Coast for over two decades.

Our Alberta practice is led from Edmonton by Islam Shabana, M.Sc., Ph.D., P.Eng., providing structural engineering for residential, commercial and institutional projects across the province. Kor Structural holds an APEGA Permit to Practice, and Alberta work is delivered to the same standards and systems as every other region.

Building in Alberta brings its own demands — snow and wind loading, frost depth, and a construction market that moves quickly. We work closely with local architects, developers and contractors to design structures that are practical to build and efficient to maintain.
