This page applies to all email sent from the @korstructural.com domain by Kor Structural Ltd. (“Kor Structural”) and its employees.

1. Confidentiality

Email from Kor Structural, including any attachments, is intended solely for the named recipient(s) and may contain information that is confidential or privileged. If you have received a message in error, please notify the sender immediately and delete the message and any attachments without copying, distributing, or disclosing the contents.

2. Professional Opinions, Instructions, and Recommendations

Any opinion, instruction, or recommendation provided by email is preliminary in nature. All such direction will be reflected in, and is superseded by, Kor Structural’s final sealed drawings and design reports. Where any conflict exists between the content of an email and a sealed document, the sealed document governs.

3. No Reliance Without Sealed Documents

Email correspondence, including sketches, markups, or preliminary calculations, must not be relied upon for construction, fabrication, pricing, or design development unless and until the relevant information is issued in documents sealed by a professional engineer of Kor Structural for that purpose.

4. No Engagement by Email

Email correspondence does not, by itself, create or modify a professional services engagement, contract, or duty of care. Kor Structural’s services are governed by the executed agreement for the applicable project.

5. Transmission Integrity

Email transmission cannot be guaranteed to be timely, secure, or free of errors, interception, or viruses. Kor Structural does not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from the receipt or use of electronic transmissions, and recipients are responsible for their own virus and security checks.

6. Regulatory Identification

Kor Structural Ltd. holds a Permit to Practice with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), Permit Number 1000378.
