Kor Structural is seeking a full-time Office Manager & Accounting Lead to support both daily operations and advanced bookkeeping functions, including full-cycle AP/AR. You will work closely with project managers and senior leadership as part of a highly motivated, growing team. This position is a full-time on-site position at KOR’s downtown Vancouver office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office Management:
Streamline and maintain office operations, processes, and supplies.
Oversee shared spaces, meeting rooms, and kitchen areas.
Provide administrative project support, ensuring clear communication, deadline tracking, and document management.
Support front office duties, including reception, reporting, shipping/courier needs, and project record archiving.
Accounting & Finance:
Manage project budgets, including monitoring costs and expenditure tracking.
Prepare client invoices and support timely collections.
Lead financial reporting, including month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and project close-outs.
Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure accurate financial data entry and compliance with standards.
Support decision-making with financial analysis and guidance.
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, licenses, and insurance renewals.
Review and approve office expenses; ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
Manage vendor relationships and support efficiency initiatives.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and training materials.
Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience; related degree/certificate is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and reliability.
Strong oral and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills are required.
Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
Experience consolidating financial data, reconciling accounts, and managing general ledger activity.
Strong organizational, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Experience in office administration; service or construction industry experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently and in a group/team environment to work towards common goals.
Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism, personal responsibility, and self-discipline.
Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$60,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.
Annual performance bonuses (at discretion).
